RTX 3060 Model 2504 (aka LHR v2) HiveOS Hashrate Limit's

Obrigado pela dica de overclock, vou colocar como ficou a minha placa para outros, que tem do mesmo fabricante, poderem ter um parâmetro.

Thanks by OC tip, see below how my 3060 Gigabyte Gaming behaved after applying your OC:

NB Miner 39.2
Nvidia Driver 465.31
Previous OC: core -500 memory 1150 pl 111 - MHs 111

As I am in Brazil, and the ambient temperature is high this season, I’m worried about core/mem temperatures. How far can I go on it in a safe range?

Mi consejo no más de 65 hay gente que los sonrepasa

My advice no more than 65 there are people who smile at them

UPDATING

I had to come back to previous OC once after 20 minutes my RIG restarted by itself and on NB Miner I received an Memory Error (I couldnt register it).
I @iesonagata OC in future with other Nvidia driver and let you know.

Ravencoin seems to be a bit more profitable right now, and it’s easier to setup, so my new (mostly) 3060 rig is running that.

There was one card on the rig that ran really hot on RVN so since I had to tune it in anyway, I switched it over to erg. It gets close to 117 runs cooler and needs less power.

But for example the 3060 TI gets over 30mh on RVN, it would have to hit the 160s in erg to match the profitability, so unless there is some work done on the miners to run that card more stable with ergo, I think I’ll leave that card on RVN (even though it hits 160w).

(Edit: the 1080, 1070, 480 and 580 are running ETH)

can anyone help with OC settings not able to push more than 32 MHs is that the best on LHR 3060 card or better can be achieved? and I am a newbie for mining and hiveos . Request

some direction

Hey tlilancalqui, what motherboard and cpu are u using? The 3060s dont need x16 and HMDI dummys for ERGO, correct? Trying to build a 3060s rig… Best regards

NBminer, getting about 34mh on ETH

I am testing two cards on Ravencoin right now. I think my goal is 24.5 mh

Driver : N460.91.03

If you are mining ETH go with miniZ with driver 460.91.03 you will get 35.xx MH/s

OC 1450 / 2650 also each card reacted differently need some adjustment of your own.

Hello, everyone, I’m new here and new to mining. For 2 weeks I’ve been trying to get up to 100 MHz with my MSI RTX 3060 12 GB cards, like everyone else, but without success! I found this:

0.6-203@210515 linux 2021-05-15

lolMiner v1.29 (added the Nvidia 3060 “Unlocker” for Linux for using with Nvidia drivers from v455.45.01 and up to v460.39 (other driver version outside this range not supported). This new mode mode allows to mine at a speed about 3/4 of the maximum speed of this cards, allow use risers, allow multiple GPUs in one system.

I go under settings and set the maintenance mode to With loding driver
I use the shell to install nvidia-driver-update 460.39 drivers.

Then the system restarts and no longer works! No picture, no terminal, offline, etc. I am currently working with Hive OS based on Linux version 0.6-210@210915. I cannot upgrade the OS to version 0.6-203@210515 linux 2021-05-15. Can tell me where I can download version 0.6-203@210515. Thanks and sorry for my bad english. (Google translater)

P.S.
I have two workers running. 6 X RTX 6030 and 1x RTX 3060 for testing. Therefore two pictures with different OS versions and driver versions.

thanks @liubros this setting works like a charm for me getting 34+ now from 32.5 , thanks… what about power Limit can we decrease

Hi there,
I’m delighted for you. With the settings and the current nVidia driver, I can only reach 26.06 MH, but the RTX 3060 can do up to 40/45 MH
Can you tell me how I can get Hive OS version 0.6-203@210515 linux 2021-05-15?
I cannot select this from the list.

not even with the shell command
hive-replace --list
thanks

Hi guys. After a long and painful tuning, we got 115 MH / s. With driver 470.74

Great work, ergo and LHR v2 is such a pain.

A little bit of advice, for 50 C you don’t need your fans to run at 80%.

Try 60-65% your card will be around 55-60 which is fine. on the other hand, will highly increase the longevity of fan bearing.

Thanks. I will try

Hi, I’ve been reading through the entire thread but could only find two mentions of Zotac so far.
I have 2* Zotac RTX 3060 Twin Edge cards (1 OC, 1 regular) both Model 2504 so LHR V2 mining on NBMiner to NiceHash ERGO and have been testing with various OC settings I read on this thread and found that on both cards:

-420 core || 2200 mem || 100 power limit

readings2|690x343

Gives me the most stable results performing at 1100 to 1120 efficiency/watt mining at ~110 MH/s on NBMiner
Cards info as follows:

GPU 0
02:00.0
GeForce RTX 3060 12053 MB · ZOTAC
Samsung GDDR6 · 94.06.25.00.50

GPU 1
04:00.0
GeForce RTX 3060 12053 MB · ZOTAC
Samsung GDDR6 · 94.06.25.00.51

On stock clocks, I would get 100MH/s but very inefficient in power. With current settings, if I move core beyond/higher than -300 lets say -290 until 0, MH will drop down to 60 from 110 and I do not know why because it does not happen when everything is stock clocks.

The same goes for memory clock, if I go to +2300 and above or below 2100, MH drops to 60 from 110 and still I do not know. When looking at NBMiner console, I noticed that the values for core clocks would spike from ~1200 to ~1500 and the value would stay around ~1500 and it is during these spikes that initiate some sort of chain of events where the MH would quickly drop down to the 60s.

I am looking into using T-Rex Miner because of the absolute core clock feature since I couldn’t find anything on NBMiner absolute core clock or any clear info on how to set it on HiveOS if it is not dependent on the miner.

I am comfortable with these numbers as further testing is giving me headaches so I will update if I have better news, but for now, I will leave this here for any Zotac 3060 Twin Edge owners and any feedback or suggestions to my settings are more than welcome.
Thanks!!

Hi there,
thanks for the information. I have exactly the same settings, Hive OS version, driver and RTX 3060 and T-Rex Miner,
but only 26 Mh. No matter what I do. It doesn’t work.
The only difference is the BIOS version!
Can it be because of that?

I am using one

MSI RTX 3060 12GB GAMING Z TRIO 12G
Herstellernummer V390-245R
Thanks for your help.

With the settings I can get 33 MH

Pay attention to the driver version

it is identical
