1 GPU Recognized as GA102

Hello HiveOS Community,

I have a weird issue and I can’t find a real(or permanent) solution. I have 11 RTX 3080 non-lhr graphics card and every gpu works fine except for one. One card is not recognized, shows as GA102 and stops mining.

I’ve tried flashing bios and it works but for some reasons its happening again after 1-3 days. I have to reflash the bios over and over again every couple days. It’s like something deletes my gpu bios or the gpu is faulty.

I’ve send this card to a hardware repair shop, they said card needs reballing but I dont think this is the issue here.

What can cause this problem? Thanks

I had this issue with my EVGA 3090, it started few hours after transfer the hardware to another Rig frame, in my case was the riser power cable that was not properly connected, check your connections.
