2070 only 9mhs

Hi,

I have problem with one new card I got.
I am trying to put it on my rig, and it does not recognize it correctly.
Inside hiveos web, it does not show power consumption, and it only mines 9mhs per

If I look inside of hive shell, it says that is taking 588w of power.

Rest of the cards are one more 2070, one 2070s, and one 2060s.

Motherboard

Z390 D Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. (F2 10/15/2019)

CPU

2 × Intel(R) Celeron(R) G4950 CPU @ 3.30GHz AES

Disk Model

ATA ADATA SU650 120GB

I enabled 4g in bios.

So far I tried different risers, different slots, I even tried to put just that card inside of the slot directly, always the same result.

I have spare rig, but just with 2 slots, in that one it works fine.

I updated my hive, nvidia drivers, I even changed cpu and ram stick on it.

Any ideas?

The driver has crashed and you need to reboot in order to reset it.

I have reset it like hundred times, not helping.
Weird is that card works normally on test bench…

Have you done any troubleshooting? Swapped cards around? Cables/risers etc? Reduced memory clock? What have you tried so far?

Yes, i tried with multiple boards, risers, 4 power supplies.
As much as I can see, every time I put more than one card on the rig, it stops to work.
If that is only card in the rig, it works just fine.
Is it possible that something stopping it working with other cards?
I also tried it in H510 Pro BTC+ ASRock board without risers, still same problem.

Also I tried to create fresh new worker for it, same problems…

Have you tried lowering the memory clock?

I tried even stock, same thing. If it’s only card in case it works, if I add any other card it start with this thing. 9mhs…

Can you run nvidia-smi -q and paste the output here?

I dont know is this helps?

try setting power limit to 210

I tried that now as well.
ALso I rebooted rig after changing PL.

I also now found something interesting, is this normal?
It tells me lower clock speed on nvidia-info on that card

If the driver is crashed things aren’t going to work as intended, reduce memory to 0 and reboot, let me know if the power draw is still absent in your dashboard

same…

Also I just notice this “powerlimit”.

Try swapping pcie locations/risers/cables etc. or if it’s doing it on other boards the card might be faulty.

As I said, I tried on different boards, with and without risers.
Tried also with different powersupplies.
If I put just this card in the rig, it works fine, but if I put any other card next to it, this start to happen.
I tried mixing with nvidia cards, with amd cards, and with only 2070 cards.
Every time same thing, if you leave it alone, it works, if you add any other card, this happens :-/

Id keep it on its own board then as it seems to be a card issue if it’s the only variable.

Unfortunately, since I am limited with space, that is not an option :frowning:
