3070 Ti Consuming Too Much Power

First of all, this is my first post. I just got my first rig up and running this week. I am mining ETH using the Hiveon pool and lolminer. I have Ultra8plus Octominer with eight of the EVGA 3070 Ti’s ( 08G-P5-3797-KL) https://www.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=08G-P5-3797-KL

I feel like the power consumption is too high. I read post stating they were only using 130W per cards and post showing high power consumption but no one has offered a solution or explanation. My theory as a beginner is that the LHR cards use more power to squeeze out more Hash? Just a theory. Can someone educate and enlighten me on why my cards are using so much power?

thats normal, youre probably confusing them with 3070s. min/max core/mem, find the highest stable mem for each, 2000 is on the low end.

Actually, one of my power supplies wasn’t plugged in all the way.

And plugging it in all the way changed what?
