8 GPU - 1070 - mining rig (3 rigs)

Been facing an issue for a while.

I have 3 8 gpu 1070 rigs. Recently moved from windows to HiveOS. It detects the gpus but only mines on 4, checked risers, gpus, psu and drivers. They are all fine

Something doesnt make sense, they are all in good form. I i switch gpus same result only 4 work. Motherboard is a Z270 Asus - earlier in windows it would work fine.

Would appreciate any help. Working at half capacity. All rigs only get 4 cards to mine.

try setting pcie speed from auto, to “gen1” or “gen2” in bios.
maybe it’s a motherboard north bridge bus problem.
