I need help to install cuda 9.1 at HiveOS and run ccminer with cuda 9.1. How i can get it?
Can the dev do it in the next release?
I have installed cuda-9.1-libraries using this:
wget -O http://developer.download.nvidia.com/compute/cuda/repos/ubuntu1604/x86_64/cuda-repo-ubuntu1604_9.1.85-1_amd64.deb
dpkg -i cuda-repo-ubuntu1604_9.1.85-1_amd64.deb
apt-key adv --fetch-keys http://developer.download.nvidia.com/compute/cuda/repos/ubuntu1604/x86_64/7fa2af80.pub
apt-get update
apt-get install cuda-libraries-9-1
But it is very slow (~30%) compared to 9.0. Has anyone had a better luck?
Driver Version: 390.48
Do I need a newer driver for 9.1 or am I missing something?
Tnx for answear!
slover? while wich coin mining?
How i can update a driver version?
i wanna try to mining x16r on 9.1 cuda miner and catch the diff between 9.0 and 9.1
I’ve tried Xevan algo (ELLI) on enemy-1.0.9.
For updating drivers you can read here: https://gist.github.com/wangruohui/df039f0dc434d6486f5d4d098aa52d07
I wouldn’t recommend it though if you don’t have at least basic linux knowledge, there is a high possibility you can break something.
cuda 9.1 libraries are now included in hive, no need to do anything
