Does not boot when inserting the gpu

Hi,
I have a b250 btc 12p, it boots ok without the gpu but when I plug the rtx 3090 gpu does not boot… Everything seems ok, but nothing is on the monitor…

  • I did not make any changes to the BIOS.
  • It is the first GPU installed, it’s installed on a 1x pcie.
  • I connect the monitor to the onboard (motherboard) vga adaptor

What can It be?

give us more info. Do you have other GPUs on this motherboard? Where did you connect the Monitor cable after inserting the GPU? did you change settings in the Mobo’s bios?

well you might wanna try with the newly added GPU . connect it to it. maybe its switching to it after it detects it has another GPU.

Changing the default graphics output on bios solved the problem
