Drivers don't get updated

Hi everybody,
I have three rigs, all updated to the latest Hiveos.
But one of them did not update the driver for AMD cards.
It is running driver number 20.40 (5.11.0701)
My other rigs are running 20.40 (5.11.1001)

Any suggestions on how i can accomplish a driver upgrade?

use hive-replace -s, then selfupgrade after its finished

Maintenance mode without drivers first?

nope, just run the above command

It crashed my rig and would not update so i had to flash the stable hiveos to my SSD.
But thanks anyway…

Heads up, OS upgrades do not adjust the drivers. Drivers are included with updated kernel releases.

So, your prior situation likely had your (3) rigs on same OS, but one was on an older kernel.

0701 was back here around #132:

Upgrading to the latest stable kernel via Hive Shell or by downloading and reflashing both are valid paths :slight_smile:
