E: Unable to fetch some archives, maybe run apt-get update or try with --fix-missing?

has anyone encountered this issue and/or has been able to solve/work around it?

for the record already ran apt-get update with and without --fix-missing to no avail

Same issue here… also tried installing a clean HIVEOS image

I already tried manually downloading the latest version manually and creating the (not yet created) folders in /hive/miners/t-rex in hopes for the automatic process to detect it.

this did not work either unless there’s a specific way to tell the OS to use the already manually installed version

I’ve got the same issue and haven’t found a solution. Switched to lolminer for the night, hopefully they’ll fix this soon.

yeah… I’m running out of ideas and now thinking on moving to windows…

Getting exactly the same error I’ve tried everything you have as well. The weird thing is my other 3 rigs are running all the same settings and are working fine ? ? Rolling back to previous versions didn’t help either.

Yep same exact issue. Setting up a new rig today, my other one is running just fine… Not sure what or how it is any different.

Please let me know if anyone gets information! Maybe itll be back up tomorrow…

hopefully that will be the case, I ceased to try since I was unable to find a solution, hopefully someone at @os_hive will help soon

Ok i tried this and it worked for me i have no idea why. I edited the flight sheet to use two miners T-rex and Gminer and it started mining splitting the hashrate between them. So then i went back in to edit the flight sheet and removed Gminer and just left t-rex miner. So now its working as it should and mining happily away. I’m not sure if its what i did or something got fixed in the background as i was playing. Hope this helps i was pulling my hair out.

Cheers

Are you seeing the numbers you were expecting? Ill give it a go here in a minute and see if it works for me too.

Yes, Its start working the installation now, mayb there server port have refreshed as its downloading to installing perhaps…

Yes , the installation has been fixed by hive os crew, thank you all for your hard work and patience
