Gets stuck on block XXXXXXXX and wont move untill i look at miner screen?

this is bizzar. ive had this happen like 2 times in the last week, i updated nvidia drivers AND hiveos to the most current. 204 hive and 465 nvidia and this oddity keep coming up. as soon as i loginto shellinabox or open the shell tab the problem goes away.

missing hash
ethermine shows the lack of any hashing. i can see the timestamp on those block(s) are all the same?
