Hi guys!
I’m new to mining community and I’ve recently built a new rig with:
MB: H510 Pro BTC+ ASRock
GPU: 3x ASUS GeForce RTX 3080 STRIX white V2 10GB OC LHR
PSU: 1200 W
HiveOS version - 0.6-212@211203
Nvidia drivers version - 470.86
GPUs are connected via risers.
I’ve set PCIe on Gen2 on BIOS and start all up on HiveOS and all of GPU’s are detected, but 2 of them are missing in OS.
I’ve tried:
disconnect working GPU - 1 of 2 GPUs were detected and working, so problem is not with risers
override NVIDIA drivers - with no effect
downgrade HiveOS to 0.6-200 - with no effect
I tried to find a solution but with no luck Can anybody help me with that? <3
have you tried the cards directly on the board?
yup, tried today with no result
Hi, you have to flash bios with the last update. It solved the problem for me

Okay, so I’ve resolved problem.
I’ve reinstalled OS to Windows. It wasn’t the solution but it guided me to the right direction.
I had wrong settings in BIOS, and solution (C.A.M. setting) is in first FAQ question at MB manufacturer:
Supports 10th Gen Intel Core™ Processors and 11th Gen Intel Core™ Processors, Supports DDR4 3200MHz, Graphics Output: HDMI, 6 PCIe 3.0 x16, 1 Mining Port (M_Port1 at x1), 1 SATA3, 1 M.2 (SATA3), 2 Rear USB 3.1 Gen1 Type-A, 4 USB 2.0 Type-A (2 Rear, 2...
Completely agree with updating the bios. The bios version out of the box will not allow the other PCI slots to work unless it’s updated with HIVEOS and the 3080, or 3090 series. I can confirm that Minerstat didn’t experience this same issue (troubleshooting effort to see what was going on)
