GTX 1660 Super with Samsung memory eventually crashing

Hey guys, I have a farm with 8 Asus TUF Gaming GTX 1660 Super, and out of 3 cards with Samsung memory, 2 are eventually crashing, at different times, they never crashed together. GPU 0 will run for 8 hours or more and then crash and stop mining. Same for GPU 1. My config is:

As you can see from the screenshot, I’ve tried reducing both clocks rates, compared to the third Samsung memory card, GPU 6, which has never crashed, at even slightly higher rates. I’m running ethash.

Does anyone know what could be happening?

Thank you

Did you ever find a fix?

Not quite yet, but got better. As you can see on the following image, GPU 5 is stable (48~ hs so far) with core at 1050 and mem at 1800, however, I had to lower the 2 other Samsung’s. GPU 0 proved stable at 990 and 1506. GPU 2 crashed after a few hours with both previous configs, so I set it back to “safety” at 930 and -1004. Did you have any luck?

your 1660super samsung memory can go up to 32 if you apply 1050 core 2200 mem

Raise your absolute core clock to between 1000 - 1100, raise your memory oc to between 2400 - 2800 ( unless your forcing P0 state then it would be 2000 - 2400 )

not sure if you still need help but I got 32mh on Samsung (not bios modded) and 35mh on hynix( bios modded )

This is the 1660 super samsung mem I have famzb3acb1k7uloc-setting-xxx-0-90-end-2000 — ImgBB

bro what are you’re fan speeds… no wonder you’re cards are all crashing. set all your fans to at least 90% all the time. i have been mining since 2017 and have never had to replace a fan once. you are gonna destroy you’re cards doing that.

also with my fan set to 90% my 2 tuf gaming 1660 supers both do 32mh super stable. and they stay at like 45C

core 1050
mem2200
pw 76w
FAN 90

about the same hashrates as me. look at his fan speeds… explains alot

Try
Core : 1100
Memory: 1200
PL : 80
