Hiveos hanging when loading older 465.31 NVIDIA drivers

I have been trying to roll back drivers and it is hanging at 5% and doing absolutely nothing.

Am trying to experiment with older drivers to see if i can improve my 3060 TI [LHR] cards.
best i can get so far is 40.6Mhs.

anyone else had this issue or have a fix for both problems?
[UPDATE] - it now says it is loaded after about 20 minutes of doing nothing visable on the screen and now it is saying

Installation of the NVIDIA Accelerated Graphics Driver for Linux-x86_64 (version: 465.31) is now complete. Please update your xorg.conf file as appropriate; see the file /usr/share/doc/NVIDIA_GLX-1.0/README.txt for details.
