Hello there. I researched it on the internet and learned that it is possible to share internet between computers with two Windows operating systems via ethernet cable. My question is, is internet sharing possible between Windows and Hiveos in the same way (from windows to hiveos)? If possible, how is it done?
I am also trying this. My windows rig connected to internet via wifi. Plug LAN cable from windows’ rig to hive’s rig. Make a bridge connection wifi-ethernet from windows. Then check connection on hive using command “hello” or “net-test”.
There’s 2 caveats: It’s a bit tricky to reconnect after reboot, and if windows lost connection then your hive will also disconnected. It works, at least for emergency connection. But I ended up with a usb wifi dongle in every rigs.
