Is unlocking nvidia 3000 series GPU actually safe for its life expectancy and is it worth to unlock?

I am planning to buy 1 RTX 3070 LHR since non-LHR GPUs are skyrocketing. However, LHR/TI GPU are not that much efficient compared to non-LHR. And recently found out that it could be unlocked by using the t-rex miner, where it mines two coins. Therefore, my question is unlocking LHR/TI GPU safe for its life expectancy, and is it worth to unlock based on its revenue compared to mining a single coin?

its safe yes. actually the non LHR cards are the same as LHR but the BIOS of the card and the driver makes the cards LHR, meaning locks them. Limits their performance. So they use some tricks to bypass these locks or avoid activating them. So basically its the same card as Non LHR but software limited to make less hashrate.

Have you tried unlocking Nvidia 3000 series GPU by using the t-rex miner? Is it actually profitable?

I actually have two options, either buy 2 1660 TI and 1 rtx 3070 lhr. If I would go for the rtx 3070 lhr, I would I think I would unlock it with the t-miner. But it gives me doubt if which should be more profitable.
