Mirror Repository to Ubuntu Server?

Can I copy the /hive/opt/repomirror/repomirror file to a regular Ubuntu server and use that as a repository instead of using one of my HiveOs rigs? I get rather annoyed when The new image comes out, and I have to recreate and resync the repository as well as the downloads and drivers I keep mirrored to the same place. Alternatively, is there an easy way keep the repository and other files from been wiped out by the new stable image install?

You can run a repo from wherever you’d like, whether or not it will install and have the needed dependencies on a vanilla Ubuntu with the script used in hiveon os I can’t say.

Alternatively you could edit the path for the repo files and have them saved on an external/secondary drive, that wouldn’t be wiped when doing a hive-replace.
