I think 8 gb is ok…
Hey…I’ve installed an 8gb stick and same results… what can be? i dont know what to do anymore… starting to get frustated with this mobo.
Bios doenst even load, it gets stuck on this screen. And I tested with 4 rx 580 and 1 5700xt, all amd, not even the 3060ti… I cant get it to boot with 5 gpus. When I enabled csm, I can boot, the hiveos load the first page, and then black screen for ever
I tried almost every config possible…
When I try to boot the flash drive in Legacy mode, I get this error:
Already flashed a new drive multiple times…
The rig is setted perfectly, every cable, everything is right.
And I know that all the GPUs works and are stable, the problem is when I add the 5 gpu.
I removed the 5700xt and tested with the 4 RX 580 and the 3060TI, works with this 5 cards. But I know that 5700xt works and its stable, its been mining since yesterday without any problem. Could be the bios mod?
You still have some onboard stuff you can disable to potentially free up some board resources.
- M_port1
- Onboard Audio
- PXE and ROMs?
- IGPU multi
I descovered what the problem is… I reflashed the 5700xt on the only PCI slot that my PC have (GPU 0). As soon as I put the 5700xt on the GPU 0 of my rig (first slot), it works. Is it so bad to use the Nvidia on the PCIE 6 Slot?
Theres a way to flash the card with the number I want? Because I’m gonna trade this 3060ti to another 5700xt evoke… And that way, it wont work.
It is stable with this config: (5700xt is on stock bios rn, tried to plug in other slot then the 0 and does not work either, only on gpu 0, slot 1)
have you tried with GENs 2 speed on other slot? i mean whats so special about the first slot. we need to find the difference between it and the others and then think of a solution. 3060Ti is LHR by the looks of it so i doubt it will run above 40MHs so its good.
do you have a picture to get 57mhs with those settings
What SoC frequencies & voltages do you guys like to run on these cards?
Bios modded Evoke samsung 5700 (non-xt) doing ETH in TeamRedMiner RR-mode.
The Bios mod helped a lot (~55mh/s compared to ~51mh/s). I did need to drop mhz from 900mhz to 895mhz and slightly raise memory voltages from 705/1275 to 715/1285 - I’m guessing the increased timings from the bios mod requires a good bit more voltage. I’m happy though - have a replacement fan on the way for it lol and also have some thermal pads I can put on as well before jolting up the memory speeds.
Wondering if the SoC can be raised/lowered a bit? Haven’t seen much info on SoC undervolts for these 5000 series cards.
