For this miner I believe it’s drawing to much power from the wall and it should be around 50% lower than the power it’s drawing at the moment.
Currently I’m running a miner with the following specifications:
Rig:
Motherboard: PRIME Z390-P ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. (2820 01/06/2021)
CPU: 6 × Intel(R) Core™ i5-9400 CPU @ 2.90GHz AES
Disk Model: ATA KINGSTON SA400S3 240GB
PSU: Seasonic Prime PX-1300
GPU’s:
1x NVIDIA 3070FE
1x NVIDIA 3060Ti FE (later added)
When there was only one GPU in the RIG the powerconsumption at the wall outlet was ±290W (measured with a Brennenstuhl PM 231 E).
The card draws ± 120W according to HiveOS, so from the wall it should be around 133W given a 90% efficiency.
Than the other components in the system should draw 290 - 133 = 157W! Seems high to me but OK.
However when I’ve added a 3060Ti FE yesterday, the powerconsumption at the wall increased with 255W to 545W.
HiveOS Says the powerconsumption from the 3060Ti FE is 118W, so with ± 90% effeciency it should be like 131W from the wall.
The power consumption increased 255W but the card only draws 131W, thats 124W of losses somewhere.
