Problems updating Hiveos

Suddenly, the system stopped working and did not want to update. I changed the USB drive but the problem persisted. So I decided to use an ssd hard drive but the problem was still the same. How can I solve it?

Error:

selfupgrade --force && sreboot (failed, exitcode=100)

what kernel/image are you on?

can you post the output of selfupgrade (without any flags)

Sorry, I’m not a very experienced user, I’m not quite sure what you’re asking.
Is this what you soloist me?

I meant without the force and reboot flags, just selfupgrade by itself.

Can you post a screenshot of your dashboards overview tab? That will have all the answers I’m looking for regarding versions/kernel

if you have some corrupted files theres potential for more, wouldnt be a bad idea to flash the latest stable image either way via:

hive-replace -s -y

The Hive OS system boots correctly and everything works normally. It detects the cards and everything, but when it tries to install the miner it wants to use, it sends constant error messages. So little I can update it. That is the first error that comes up when it starts:

 Error installing hive-miners-bzminer

Reading package lists...
E: Encountered a section with no Package: header
E: Problem with MergeList /var/lib/dpkg/status
E: The package lists or status file could not be parsed or opened.

This would be the hiveos state capture:

try flashing the latest stable image, and then updating from there.

As I mentioned before, I had already tried reinstalling the entire system, I even tried using an SSD disk. But the problem persists. I also tried the beta version of hieos instead of the stable one. The problem is the same in all tests.

try a fresh drive then, sounds like yours is corrupt.

I have used 3 different ones (one of them recently bought). The problem is the same in all. That’s why I’m looking for help since I don’t find sense in this problem.

try a different method of flashing. hiveos installer, balena or rufus

Ok, finally the problem is solved. Use the Hiveos installer. To leave the data, the version that gave me problems was the one that was installed with balenaEtcher.

Thanks for the help.
