How to set up a backup mine pool?
I use Claymore
Master Digging ETH
Recently, the mine pool where I was located was not stable, and some of the mine pools have opened up for additional extra pool access.
In the Hive OS environment, how do I set up my backup mine pool?
Epools.txt template:
POOL: eth.gpumine.org:3333 , WALLET: MyWallet.MyWorkerName, PSW: x, ESM: 0, ALLPOOLS: 1
This is my main syntax for epools
Main mine pool
eth.gpumine.org:3333
Reserve pool
eth2.gpumine.org:4333
Thank you for reading, hope to have friends to answer questions
Thanks again
P.S: This is a translation from GOOGLE. If there is grammatical weirdness, please forgive me.
For Claymore’s DUAL use must write one pool per string where first pool will be main pool and second, third, etc will be backup (failover) pool
For your example:
POOL: eth.gpumine.org:3333, WALLET: MyWallet.MyWorkerName, PSW: x, ESM: 0, ALLPOOLS: 1
POOL: eth2.gpumine.org:4333, WALLET: MyWallet.MyWorkerName, PSW: x, ESM: 0, ALLPOOLS: 1
where:
eth.gpumine.org:3333 - main pool
eth2.gpumine.org:4333 - backup (failover) pool
Other miners has own syntax
