i have 4gb RAM and am adding an IDENTICAL 4Gb on my ASUS mining mobo.
problem
- this causes it to hang. i fi remove the new memory its alright. i have tried 2x 4gb of new identical memory and its the same… so the problem seems to be change to total system ram
i have no boot monitor (oh the irony!) and am wondering if i need to make any kind on manual intervention in hive os to accept a change in memory?
- sometimes the rig completely hangs and i have to short the power on the mobo. I think this SW PC Desktop Power Cable On/Off Push Button ATX should solve that problem for anyone that’s interested, I see many people with this problem. link to amazon: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B09J8QKCMW
