So I tried to upgrade Nvidia drive to 510.39.01 per everywhere online says, but it just finished download and then stuck on some sort of black screen. I could restart, but then I just see the n drive version get back to the original 49x something. Why is that?
If you restarted manually before the driver installed that would be the issue.
It’s best just to install the latest stable image as it includes 510.60.02 drivers.
Run hive-replace -s -y in the shell, and don’t reboot manually, let it finish on its own.
