Dude,I tried to make mV to 1100,then rig reset itself。
Is it a Sapphire? I can’t go lower than 1150 mV, 1160 mV for me is stable
what motherboard are you using?
are you using a pcie 1 to 4 extender? is it running stable?
Asus Prime z490-P
Yes, stable.
Riser + splitter only
Amazon.com: PCIe 1 to 4 Riser Card, Pcie Splitter 1 to 4 PCI Riser Card, 4 Risers into 1 PCI Card, PCIe Risers 1X to External 4 PCI-e USB 3.0 Adapter Multiplier for Bitcoin Miner Device : Electronics
Riser 06 - 010s, mix.
Somebody told me theres much stress with those riser cards, because of missing power from board etc. can you tell me something about youres? how long do you use etc? … i only use native boards. z390p witz 8 gpu - 6x pcie + 2 x m.2 to pcie adapter. working well but i need much hardware and i have more workers (costs)
I have 2x 3 cards connected from one splitter. So far, many weeks without a problem.
Why “only” 3 on a 4Port riser?
Hi @Lalading, I have three 4-port PCIE Splitters running on a MSI B450 mobo without problems. One of the 4-port Splitters runs off the M.2 slot with an M.2 to PCIE x4 adapter. I still have one free port on the splitter bottom left. The other nice thing about these splitters is you can set the PCIE slot config to AUTO and let the splitter card negotiate with the PCI bus on its own (no need to set slots for Gen1 or 2).
btw, the splitters seem to consume about 3-4watts each.
Just count your PCIE lanes carefully (check CPU spec, check mobo spec, etc)
Next step for me is a Bifurcation card and another 4-port PCIE Splitter on the 16x slot. Should take us up to 16 GPUs on this CPU/mobo!
Thanks for this nice text i use asus z390 prime with 8 slots (incl. 2 m.2 sata) and 8 cards.
this is a good spec because of 8gpu rig and psu wattage … but i get too much workers
I have a gigabite 12pcie board , but only get 9 gpu running on it. i will try this splitter card there.
i only use pentium gold processors with 16 lanes
Because I have 10 cards, the remaining 4 are each in their MB slot
Wow! the asus z390 prime is a lovely mobo! I am very jealous
Which board is the Gigabyte and what cpu are you using?
I just had to order another psu before I accidentally start a fire in my house, this hobby is getting out of hand
z390 prime is very rare now …first i paid 90 euro - last one 140 but i know, theres no little stress with this board. biggest shit was msi …
my gigabyte is a B250-FinTech
i have two of them. one running 12 6600xt without any problems. so i bought another one, with 5x 2060 super and 4 2060 …not running 12. i didnt find out why …
in my tests i decided to find out a setup which is very free of problems. thats the asus board, a dark power pro 1500w psu and a g5400 … this is good stuff an running easy and stable on 8 gpu.
i paid a lot of learning money …
As far as I know, Asus Prime z490-P only has 6 PCIe slots, but you can make it run 12 VGA amazing
what processor do you use in motherboard “Asus Prime z490-P” ???
and can you share your RIG photo thanks
hi you look amazing brother
can you explain what components you use, starting from the motherboard series, processor, RAM, and the type of 1 to 4 splitter extender, riser version, and what brand of power supply are you using?
it will really help me,
go to 901, reboot, and see if power drops, I am curious.

Which miner ? thanks!
